Custom domains

Every workspace gets its own web address automatically:

your-company.crewtimetrack.com

That's where you and your crew sign in, and it's ready the moment you create your workspace — nothing to set up. For most teams this is all you'll ever need.

Using your own domain

On the Crew plan and above you can use a domain you already own — for example time.yourcompany.com — instead of the default address.

  1. Go to Settings → Branding and let us know the domain you'd like to use (or contact us).
  2. We'll give you a single DNS record to add at your domain provider (a CNAME pointing your subdomain at CrewTimeTrack).
  3. Add that record with your provider (GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Namecheap, etc.). It usually takes effect within an hour.
  4. We turn on a secure certificate (HTTPS) for your domain automatically — there's nothing for you to install.

Once it's live, your team uses your custom address to sign in, and it appears on the links you send to your crew.

Which address should I use?

  • Just getting started / simplest: stick with your-company.crewtimetrack.com. It always works and needs zero setup.
  • Want your own branding in the URL: add a custom domain (Crew plan and above) using the steps above.
